What Is a WordPress Page Builder Plugin?

A WordPress page builder plugin provides a simple drag and drop interface to build beautiful websites. You can create pages by simply arranging blocks of content with a drag and drop tool. Most page builders also offer front-end editing so you can make live edits without having to switch back and forth between your editor and the preview page.

Above all, a page builder allows anyone to build a website with ease regardless of their skillset. No technical know-how is required as you won’t be touching a single line of code.

The plugin has a desktop view by default. You can change the view to mobile to discover how your visitors will view your site on their mobile devices.

The plugin also has an additional feature to ensure responsiveness. You can find the Responsive option under the Advanced menu whenever you’re editing an element. This lets you hide a widget for a specific device. This is useful when you don’t want to display the same piece of content on every device.

  1. Elementor is pure hype and an extremely difficult and confusing page builder. Avoid it if you don’t have much experience in web building.

  2. Yes, they have horrible customer support. I have been trying to get ahold of them for two days and have not had success. I went away for a few days and when I came back the website was all messed up. They’re good for some things.

  3. Beware of Elementor if you need tech support. Their business model is that which makes it impossible to get live contact with tech support. No phone, no chat, they don’t even answer their corporate office telephone. My experience with their tech support for an installation issue made it obvious that they no practically nothing. I finally gave up and found a fix using Google.

    1. Hello! I’m buying elementor, but first I want to make sure that other tools provide the same or better service, I see your comment and I wonder, now that some time has passed, do you still use it ?, do you have any other option to build pages?, thank you!

    2. I agree. I’ve been waiting for two hours… nothing.

  4. If you say it is the best one, which other products have you compared it to?

    1. did you find something better ?. I would not like to buy it and take a bad day
